Headteacher's Welcome
Thurnham Church of England Infant School is a caring Christian community where everybody is valued and encouraged to flourish.
We are extremely proud of our children and their achievements. Our highly skilled staff bring learning to life and ensure that all of our pupils have the opportunity, support and challenge to achieve their full potential.
We strive to teach our children the life skills needed to be happy, confident learners, so they can thrive at all stages of their education and in later life.
I am delighted to be able to share with you the report from our Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) in June 2026.
We are very proud of the report and our school. The report really captures who we are as a school, the community we serve and the impact our Christian vision is having.
It is affirming and encouraging to have external validation of what Thurnham Church of England Infant School does for its pupils, adults, and community each and every day.
It represents both an opportunity to celebrate our strengths and distinctiveness and to continue in our endeavours for all here to thrive.
